Naga Awards for March 2008

Naga Awards: The NAGA award per subject
area is granted to a middle school student who stands out the
most in class. It may not necessarily be based on high grades
but may be based on effort or behavior in achieving academic
success. A citizenship award is granted to student(s) who
manifested a remarkable spirit in helping out other students in
a variety of ways. This year, the NAGA awards will be granted
quarterly.
The first NAGA awards for this year took place in the
multi-purpose hall during the middle school assembly on
Wednesday morning. The following are the NAGA awardees for the
first quarter: Ly Ly So (Music ), Thipdey Monorom (Math),
Raymond Lee and SeoYun Park (French), Hyeok Keun Choi
(Technology), Aspasie Song (English), Titus Payne (Social
Studies), Se-Yun Oh and Haruna Miyake (P.E.), Kimhoung San
(ESL Bridge), Hyun Ho Jang (ESL), Isheeta and Ishaan Joshi
(Science) and Monyleak Sokhom (Art). The following are the
Citizenship awardees: Hajime Baba, Eusteen Barte, Paolo Gomez,
Hyun Ho Jang, Jason Im, Sothea Thol, Jake Park, Titus Payne and
Yusuke Yaginuma.
