Northbridge International School Cambodia strongly believes that
parents are an integral part of our community and we want their
support and involvement on a regular basis. Our school endorses
the concept of active parental involvement. Moms and dads of children
in our Nursery through Grade 6 classes are encouraged to serve as Room
Parents. Room Parents make meaningful contributions to the classroom by
assisting teachers in a number of ways: helping to organize class parties
and events; serving as volunteers for classroom activities; assisting with
field trips and field days and with school-wide programs; and signing on
as instructors, coaches and advisors for our After School Activities program.
Parents may also choose to become active in our Parent Group (PG).
The Parent Group
The NISCParent Group (PG) brings
together parents for the purpose of furthering the development of the school,
promoting the welfare of the students, enhancing communication, and encouraging
social interaction between families and the school. The PG supports the school
in maintaining its standard of excellence and promotes the belief that parent
involvement enriches the educational experience for all students. Meetings,
to which all interested parents and teachers are invited, are held semi-regularly,
the dates of which are advertized through the Mekong Messenger. For further details
about the PG, please contact the main office.
