for teachers, administrators and support personnel; it governs the
many sports, cultural and academic exchanges for students of membership
schools; and, provides a valuable network of resources and support
for educators in our region.
The MRISA membership schools are:
Northbridge International School of Cambodia (Cambodia)
International School of Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
Vientiane International School (Laos)
International School Eastern Seaboard (Thailand)
Hanoi International School (Vietnam)
International School of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)
Saigon South International School (Vietnam)
United Nations International School of Hanoi (Vietnam)
Sports & Cultural Exchanges
The sports exchanges provide opportunities for students from
different schools around our region to come together and make
new friends as well as compete in different sports.
Participants enjoy safe, friendly competitive matches while
developing friendships and improving the knowledge of sport.
There are six sports exchanges which occur throughout the year:
three for middle school athletes, and three for high school
athletes. Student-athletes may wish to participate in
volleyball, football (soccer) and basketball. Sports
exchanges are generally hosted by different schools throughout
the MRISA region.
A MRISA Cultural Exchange takes place once a year and alternates
between schools. Each cultural exchange has a specific theme which is
the back-bone for the workshops and performances presented.
