Northbridge International School Cambodia is accepting applications for the positions listed on the ISS, Search and TIE websites. Also, NISC will be attending the ISS and Search Fairs in Bangkok (January 2010) and Boston (February 2010).
For your information, we are currently (2009-2010) in our first year as a PYP Candidate School. We hope to be fully authorized by August of 2011. In addition, we are now investigating adopting the MYP and/or DP Programmes. In August of 2010, we expect to be a candidate school in either, or both, of those programmes. We also currently offer many Advanced Placement opportunities in our high school. We have been fully accredited by WASC for the past ten years and are currently accredited through 2013.
We would prefer to employ IB trained and experienced teachers however, because we are new to the IB, we are also prepared to provide training to outstanding teachers who have little or no IB experience. If you are not an IB experienced teacher and would like that opportunity, we hope you see NISC as a place to learn and to grow.
We are prepared to be very flexible in filling many of the positions we list for our middle and high schools (Upper School). MYP and DP Coordinators and Drama in particular can be connected to virtually any of the positions. Please email School Head Roy G. Crawford at roy_crawford@niscambodia.com with any questions.
Please take this opportunity to read the web version of our Overseas Hire Handbook which we hope will provide extensive information about our school, Phnom Penh and Cambodia. Our benefits package is detailed on the ISS and Search websites
You are encouraged to peruse our website. It will give you valuable insights into our school. We are proud of our wonderful children and our spectacular purpose built campus which is unique in Cambodia. Our classrooms are spacious and have large windows with views of the lush and green campus. Security is exceptional, the food is professionally catered, our playing fields are among the best in Southeast Asia, and the pool and pool side cafe offer a relaxing respite at day’s end.
