Nursery school is the first stage in our Early Childhood
educational program. Children must be 3 years of age by October 15,
2009, and be toilet-trained to be considered for enrollment into
nursery school. The NISC offers both a full-day and a half-day
nursery school program of study. Generally, most students begin with
the half day program (8:00 am to 11:30 am) as nursery school is
oftentimes their first experiences away from their parents.
However,
once the children become accustomed to school, and when they are
able to handle the demands of a longer time away from home, they
generally join the full-day program.
The nursery school is founded upon the best practices of
developmental education and is designed to promote learning through
play and interaction with others.
