Visual and fine arts at NISC are taught to
students from Nursery to grade 12 as a component of their required
learning. A range of art activities is also offered as after school
activities to further students’ artistic development.
Art classes introduce both technical and conceptual skills within a
range of artistic practices, to include drawing, painting,
printmaking, photography and sculpture.
Art history and art appreciation are also
incorporated into lessons.
Displaying final assignments is integral to the artistic process.
For this reason one can always encounter student art throughout the
school, offering the NISC community regular exposure to a diverse
and sophisticated range of our students’ creative talents.
